Nice place, in winter, spectacular, and in summer, not to mention

Very nice and tasty ... One of the best restaurants with moderate prices

Up on the Lohrberg, a fantastic view of Frankfurt and Offenbach. Simple meals will be offered during lockdown. But it's most beautiful there in summer and without lockdown!

I didn't know the Lohrbergschänke before. And what do you order if you don't know something in Frankfurt. Green sauce with potatoes. I tasted 5 herbs, the other 2, chervil and something else I have never tried on my own. Fried potatoes were really crispy. You almost get a shock because you are served it so deliciously yourself. Unfortunately today was a rainy day. But still the bar was jam-packed. And when the weather is nice, the view must be fantastic. I'll check that on my next visit. I'm just saying this is how gastronomy should be. It is worth a visit just because of the good mood and warmth of the staff. And for such places it is my duty to leave a comment. The plates in the before / after. Because it was better not to lick the plates in the guest room, I had the extremely friendly wait staff explain the green sauce to me again and ordered an empty plate and then take the photo authentically. If anything, we'll do it right. Five stars.

Even when I was at school, I was not reprimanded in such a masterly manner, let alone as part of a service. Frankfurt cordiality misunderstood. The barman doesn't take the mask that seriously, can't / doesn't want to help, but then teach the guest looking for help like an elementary school student ?! That's it for a long time.

Great view of the Frankfurt skyline, but no reliable chance of getting a table. A few weeks ago we tried to reserve a table for 4 people. They said they don't take reservations and that you should just drop by. Today we just go there and we are asked if we have a reservation. In addition, they do not accept reservations for two people. There was of course no free space. That's OK too, but they couldn't say how long one would have to wait. With this back and forth, they lost me as a customer.

I've said it before. Very, very tasty and the portions are good too. Staff is very nice and brisk. The corona rules are also implemented well. Please keep it up.

Great location, beautiful view of Frankfurt. Food was there very quickly. Schnitzel very good large portion and delicious .... gladly again?

Very nice location with good food - only, unfortunately: more than once we were treated very unfriendly. If the menu does not say that the lemonade can only be ordered with cider, then I actually expect a friendly hint instead of being pomped on for trying to order it. And certainly not that the order is converted into another drink without asking, which then costs even more. It's a shame, that really spoils the joy.

Beautifully situated excursion destination. You should bring enough hunger with you, because the portions are large and delicious. The cake is homemade, the pieces are huge and also really tasty. The staff is very friendly and courteous even under the greatest stress. Make a reservation with several people!

Great here. The Lohrberg is beautiful, the establishment is well-kept, clean and tidy. The service was very friendly, the food was very good. The beer selection leaves a bit to be desired for my taste, I'm not a fan of binding. Worth a visit, but please reserve in advance, is very popular and always full.

Been there today, staff so unfriendly, especially on the take-away car. I asked for cake at 2 p.m. and got an answer, it doesn't come out of the oven until 2.30 p.m. At 14:30 I got a piece of cheesecake that was totally dry and guaranteed not fresh. Is now the 2 times that I fell into it. Not coming back.

Food with a View - the Lohrberg Schänke is located in the middle of Frankfurt's local mountain, the Lohrberg - a very popular destination not only for Frankfurters. The view of Frankfurt, the city center, the ECB and Seckbach is sensational. The food typical of Frankfurt - sharp hand cheese, Frankfurter schnitzel, knuckle of pork and of course the famous green sauce ?. Add an 8 bembel, a loquat or 2. Then a walk on Lohrberg - the perfect day. Definitely do - it's worth it!

Great restaurant, good food, good prices, good and very nice staff. For a Northern Lights like me it was a very positive and good experience. There is great regional cuisine here and I am delighted to have been invited to this restaurant. Great, can only be recommended ?

Top service, top food, great prices and a great view of Frankfurt and the surrounding area - what more could you want? The service was very nice and with regard to Corona they paid attention to everything you could pay attention to. The Lohrberg Schänke offers a wide variety of dishes, and there is definitely something for vegetarians too. I would love to come back!

Very nice ambience we sat in the beer garden and enjoyed the nice weather and Äppelwoi with Frankfurt green sauce. The service was very friendly and felt we were in good hands! PS: the Aperol also highly recommended ???

Nice place if they were friendly. I'll help: Say hello, finish speaking and say goodbye. I just wanted to ask for a reservation, a “NÄÄ !!” after the time was given conveyed the situation, but nothing more. Thanks for nothing.

Great location and great view! Food was very good. Getting there by foot was a bit confusing but we figured it out. Was definetly worth it.

Nice view and good "Corona implementation" - enjoyed the beer garden and relaxed outside. It was a very nice evening - a reduced menu, but still a good selection.

Good food and great view of Frankfurt Skyline.

The ambience is worth it the drive. The restaurant is clean, organised and has a chic, rustic feel. We ordered the day’s special and mine was steak. I tasted all and it was good, nicely cooked and tasted fresh. The servers were polite, friendly and promptly.

This place is just breath taking. I'm sometimes riding there with my bike and I'm never geting enough of the view!

The food was absolutely delicious here, the restaurant is beautiful, and it's a great location, but all this is clouded by bad service. The serving staff was very disorganized, did not know which tables were available/which were reserved, brought out the wrong food to our table, and charged us the adult price of the kids meal.

It's a very german place, it has great food and I will try to come the next time I visit Germany
